Naughty Or Nice Marathon

So... You've been toying around with the idea of having a Boudoir Shoot, huh? Well, know that just about every girl I've worked with has stated, "I NEVER thought I'd be doing this!" In other words, you're not alone! So, I thought  I'd post an idea or 2 on how to prepare for your shoot!

How would you describe a boudoir session to a girl who's never seen or done one?
A boudoir session is a romantic, classy, sexy shoot - a supermodel shoot. It’s a personal and private gift for your husband or husband to be. The goal is to create this album that’s a classy piece of art to give to your husband/husband-to-be. It pushes confidence in women and hopefully it’ll be an exciting thing to give to your man. it’s a great way for a woman to come in and celebrate how you are today. I see girls get so excited and they end up wanting more pictures than what they get in their album.

Sounds like fun, I think I'd want to lose a few pounds first or tone up!
A lot of people think they have to lose weight first but you should do it as you are. I'll never make you pose where your least favorite "problem area" is showing.  When girls sign up I send them a questionnaire to find out more about what they are comfortable with.  There is no nudity - it’s really classy. I encourage girls to really think outside the box and don’t just show up with something simple. You’re never going to do a shoot like this again or at least not very often. Had a girl come in with thigh high patent leather boots - not something she’d normally wear but it was like a fun costume just for the session. We had a girl whose husband is a guitarist so we used a guitar as a prop.

So anyone can do this?
None of the girls on my site are professional models, they're girls like you and me. They are brides-to-be or wives.  All the girls on the site have given me their permission to share their pictures but I won't ever show your picture unless you give me permission.

Every single girl who's come in for a session has been like, "I can't believe I'm doing this but I'm so glad I did." They come in really timid but leave really confident - I want girls to feel beautiful when they see their pictures and look as confident as they did when they left the session. I coach them through the poses, and photograph in an atmosphere that's relaxed so the girls feel comfortable.

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
And now faith, hope, and love abide, but the greatest of these is love.

What child doesn't love horses?

What child doesn't love horses? Boys and girls alike dream and play pretend games of riding a horse. Why the attraction? Is it the power and freedom a horse represents to a young child? Maybe. Or it could be the sheer fun of having a friend who is six feet tall. There are many reasons kids are attracted to horses and there are good reasons why we should introduce our children to the world of horses. http://www.fivestarranch.com/articles/kid-horse.html

Ashley is an amazing little girl who sometimes can be quite shy but when she is with her friend she just lights up with excitement. I have to say this photo session was a first for me. I never had the privilege to photograph anyone on a horse before. It was challenging considering the size difference but I feel I captured some great moments. It was a lot of fun.

My Best Friends Wedding!

A few weeks ago my best friend Charlene got married to an amazing man Owen. My husband and I were so proud to stand up with them on their special day. I know she has been waiting patiently for her wedding photos so I think i will start this post with a beautiful photo of the 2 of them. the wedding was amazing. I got to take a few images of them but the majority of them were taken by my amazing friend Wendy. "Thank you so Much Wendy!" So I woudl like to introduce Mr & Mrs. McKibbon......

Their beautiful cake was Made by her Niece Candace. Just amazing..

Welcome

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. I decided to create a blog to keep you all up to date with all the things that are going on with the business. I will show little peeks of some of my favorite images and just try to be more out there with you guys. A lot of you may notice I am not on Facebook as much now as I was. I recently received a email from a fan asking me why I did not post my images any more.. It is not that I do not want to or that I do not have the time it is basically for the fact that I want my clients photos to be safe and secure on the internet. so with that I am directing everyone to private galleries on my site.. Your images will be secure there.. So I am sorry to anyone who thought I left Facebook "I did not" I am basically creating my own little world on the web just for my clients so they can feel safe and secure. so with that Welcome to my Blog!

I am sure there will be some fun, funny and some down right strange pics show up on here. Basically I want to keep you in the loop with all things eyemagine. the good the really GOOD the bad and the Really BAD.. lol I am not to proud to talk about my failed attempts of photography or show an UN EDITED image to the world. That is life. it is Real.. and I am loving every second of my job and my life.
